The North Carolina Tar Heels were able to complete another 2-0 week, moving their record to 12-1 on the season.
With just one non-conference game left on the schedule, the Tar Heels are off to a hot start before they get into Atlantic Coast Conference play. And with that, they have moved up once again in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches poll that was released on Monday, December 22nd.

The Tar Heels are up one spot from No. 13 in last week’s poll to No. 12 in this week’s poll. It’s the highest ranking for North Carolina all season long.
With North Carolina escaping Ohio State, they are now hoping to close out the non-conference schedule on a high note Monday night.
