Meet The Wife Of Kirk Herbstreit (1:13)

ESPN’s computer model, the Football Power Index, released its projections for the 2025 college football season earlier this month.

The FPI is a projection-based model that uses many factors. According to ESPN, it “is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 20,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”

Who will end up surging to the top of the college football rankings during the 2025 college football season?

ESPN’s computer model has an idea.
