2027 athlete Davion Crumitie attends Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida. He took his first visit to Florida State in June of 2025 for their Elite Camp, and then he was on campus for their win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in last year’s season opener.
Crumitie was also on campus in March, and he took another visit on Tuesday. However, this one will stand out above the others. That’s because Crumitie has been extended a scholarship offer, which he announced on social media.

“Blessed to receive an offer from Florida state 🍢!!,” Crumitie said.
At Rickards, Crumitie plays wide receiver and defensive back. During his junior season, Crumitie snagged 52 receptions for 776 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he racked up 26 tackles, one interception, and one blocked field goal.
Rickards is the No. 538 player nationally and the No. 37 athlete in the country per the 247Sports composite rankings. He’s the No. 47 prospect in the state of Florida as well.
The next step for FSU is to get an official visit locked in with Crumitie.
