The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to talented class of 2027 quarterback recruit Peter Bourque.
The four-star QB prospect plays high school football and lacrosse for Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts. Bourque is the top recruit in Massachusetts and the No. 88 prospect in the country, per 247Sports. The class of 2027 standout is the No. 8 QB in his class.
Bourque’s father played college football for Dartmouth, so he has an athletic family background. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound passer has recent scholarship offers from Northwestern, Virginia, Oregon, Michigan, NC State and more Power Four programs.
The Tabor Academy QB is primarily a pocked passer. Bourque threw for 1,737 yards, 17 touchdowns and three interceptions during his sophomore year. He also added 317 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.
“After a great talk with coach (Georgia offensive analyst Brandon) Streeter I’m fired up to say Georgia football offered!” said Bourque after receiving a scholarship offer from UGA.
Bourque is predicted to commit to Penn State. The elite quarterback recruit has a big arm and the ability to extend plays. Bourque came up clutch several times during the 2024 high school football season and is poised to have a big junior year in 2025.
Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have two commitments in the class of 2027, but none at quarterback. The Dawgs do have a 2026 quarterback commitment in five-star Jared Curtis. Georgia typically signs at least one quarterback per recruiting cycle.
