The Washington Huskies and head coach Jedd Fisch have to be happy about the class they’re building on the 2027 recruiting trail.
It’s a class that’s ranked No. 10 nationally. And yes, it’s very early in the 2027 cycle, but what that says is that the eight players who have committed to Washington to far are all high-quality recruits.
The latest commitment comes from three-star linebacker Isaiah Leilua from Anaheim, California.
Leilua has a lot of offers on his plate, but he had broken his recruitment process down to Washington and Stanford.
On Tuesday, he went the Huskies’ way. This came after a weekend visit to Seattle.
“Washington recruited me harder than anyone,” Leilua told Greg Biggins of Rivals. “I’ve been feeling them the most for awhile and I have a great relationship with the coaches there.
“They reach out almost every day to make sure they get that UW logo in front of me. I like the defense and the overall scheme there and it’s just a great all around fit for me.”
