Marist football roster 2025

The Marist University football roster will feature 106 total players, with 62 returners.

Among the 44 newcomers, there are 29 incoming freshmen and 15 transfers from other schools.

The second season for head coach Mike Willis gets underway on July 29 with the opening practice of the preseason.

The transfers (not all added this year) include Will Aaronson (Wesleyan); Trevion Adcox (Merrimack); Reese Beauchamp (Texas); Nick Blisbury (Bryant); Broox Bolden (New Hampshire); Jordan Caldwell (Gardner-Webb); Garrett Carter (Susquehanna); Jackson Conners-McCarthy (Bryant); Santino Correa (Delaware); Matt DeFeo (Sacred Heart); Brody Eaton (Army); Larmar Frazier (St. Francis, Pa.); Patrick Grusser (Syracuse); Will Halub (Southwestern CC); Connor Hulstein (Princeton); Lamont Narcisse (Rice); Irene Ngabonziza (Villanova); Joey Patierno (Southern Connecticut State); Reed Shumpert (Cal Poly); and, Zach Thompson (Wagner).

The Red Foxes head into camp with only three quarterbacks: incumbent Sonny Mannino from Leesburg, Va. (junior); freshman Will O’Dell of Birmingham, Ala. (freshman); and, Syracuse transfer Patrick Grusser of Wyckoff, N.J. (freshman).

The season gets underway on Aug. 29 when New Haven visits Tenney Stadium.
