We knew that Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had some wheels while he was in college as his 1,577 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns on the ground has illustrated. But he put up a monster number at his Pro Day that have fans’ mouths watering.
Milroe skipped the NFL Scouting Combine as so many quarterback prospects in recent memory have. It’s almost a shame he did because he ran the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day and torched it with an unofficial time of 4.37 seconds.
Such a mark would have nearly matched the time that Lamar Jackson allegedly clocked in at prior to being drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

NFL fans were dazzled by the time, though many were left in such disbelief that they flat-out refuse to let it stand:
“If he can work on his throwing accuracy Then we are looking at another Michael Vick on the field. He would be dangerous,” one user mused.
“There is a reason why the camera is angled that way, that’s not 4.37 speed. We know what that speed looks like, and this doesn’t pass the eye test. If it was shot from the side like how they film it at the combine it would be even more obvious,” another argued.
“4.37 tracks for Jalen Milroe. He’s up there with Justin Fields when it comes to run-game speed and athleticism for his size. Someone is bound to fall in love with his potential in this QB class,” a third noted.

Milroe has not been grading particularly high lately, certainly not as a first-round prospect by most analysts. Even after this, fans have only bumped him up to a quarterback they’d take a flyer on as a developmental prospect.
But it’s becoming increasingly clear that Milroe has a lot more talent than some have given him credit for.
What round do you think Milroe will get drafted in?
