The Most Fantasy Points in a Game by a Quarterback

If you had these quarterbacks in your lineup in these particular weeks, you were a happy camper.

If you happened to be going up against them, you were crying like a baby.

These performances are some of the most complete games ever played by a quarterback.

Some QBs on this list used their athletic ability in addition to their passing to accumulate such a high point total, while other traditional pocket passers fired touchdown after touchdown and big play after big play to etch their names in the record books.

Here are the quarterbacks with the highest single-game fantasy point total in NFL history.

(Note: All data obtained from profootballnetwork.com)

1. 51.88 points – Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (Dec. 8, 2024)

Allen reached his record total by becoming the only player in league history to record three passing touchdowns and three rushing TDs in the same game. Unfortunately for Allen, he is also the only player on this list whose team lost, as the Bills fell to the Los Angeles Rams 44-42 despite their QB’s record setting performance.

2. 49.32 points – Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 15, 2010)

Vick led the Eagles offense to 59 points in front of a national audience on Monday Night Football, throwing four touchdown passes and scoring another two with his legs.

3. 48.08 points – Mark Rypien, Washington (Nov. 10, 1991)

It’s very surprising to see a performance from 1991 rank this highly on the all-time list, yet Rypien’s incredible game still has only been topped by two players. Rypien only completed 16 passes in his legendary performance but he still managed to record 442 passing yards and six touchdowns.

4. 46.28 points – Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos (Sep. 5, 2013)

Manning tied the all-time record with seven passing touchdowns as the Broncos dismantled the reigning champion Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 season opener in front of a national audience.

5. 45.92 points – Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers (Oct. 2, 2011)

Rodgers’ 2011 season was one of the greatest the league has seen from a quarterback. His performance against the Broncos, which included 408 passing yards with four passing TDs and two more on the ground, was one of five games in which Rodgers threw at least four touchdown passes that season.

6. 45.24 points – Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 3, 2013)

As the most surprising name on this list, Foles joined the small group of players to throw for seven touchdowns in a single game, doing so in a 49-20 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

7. 44.78 points – Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 10, 2014)

Roethlisberger threw for 522 yards and six touchdowns with 40 completions in 49 attempts, making this game one of the best pocket-passing performances in league history.

8. 44.30 points – Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints (Nov. 1, 2015)

In a historic shootout, Brees and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning combined for 13 passing touchdowns and 855 passing yards. Brees’ seven TD passes and 505 passing yards led the Saints to victory. If he didn’t also throw two interceptions in this matchup, Brees would be significantly higher up on this list.

9. 44.00 points – Randall Cunningham, Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 4, 1990)

Another performance before the league’s passing explosion in the 2000s, Randall Cunningham’s effort against the New England Patriots in 1990 remains in the fantasy football record books. Cunningham had 124 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown in addition to 240 passing yards and four passing TDs.

10. 43.76 points – Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers (Oct. 20, 2019)

Rodgers’ 429-yard performance with five passing touchdowns and a rushing score isn’t even his greatest fantasy performance, showing how dominant Rodgers truly was during his prime.
