Two college football head coaches refused to be in the latest college football video game.
EA Sports’ College Football ’26 was released on Monday, July 7 for extreme users. Those interested in paying $99.99 for the Deluxe Edition were able to grab it on Monday. The standard edition, retailing for $69.99, will be out on Thursday, July 10.
“EA Sports College Football 26 is officially available to play for Deluxe Edition users at $99.99🎮 The standard edition of the game releases July 10th,” On3 announced.

According to a report, both Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick refused to be in the video game.
Sanders, of course, starred in the NFL for several years. Belichick, meanwhile, led the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl wins.
Perhaps there was something related to their NFL careers that played a role in them refusing to be in the latest edition of the college football video game.
Belichick didn’t participate in the Madden NFL series, either.
“No Deion Sanders or Bill Belichick among the real coaches in #CFB26, as expected. Belichick didn’t do Madden, either,” Chris Vannini added.

Sanders is entering his third year at Colorado, while Belichick is heading into his first season at North Carolina.
The two head coaches are some of the most well known in the sport, but they won’t be participating in the latest college football video game.
