The South Florida Bulls and Old Dominion Monarchs are set to face off for the StaffDNA Cure Bowl in Orlando.

Both programs enter this matchup with a 9-3 record. South Florida, however, started the season ranked. This is due to taking down (at the time) No. 25 Boise State and No. 13 Florida in their opening two games.
Following their great start, the Bulls of South Florida came back down to earth. Their three losses came to Miami, Memphis, and Navy.
Old Dominion, on the other hand, opened up its season against the current best team in the country, the Indiana Hoosiers. Miraculously, the Monarchs only lost by 13 points to the now No. 1-ranked program.
