Spring football is underway at the college level, and with it comes an updated look at the balance of power going into the 2026 season. Over the weekend, FanDuel released its win totals for all Power 4 conference teams, giving us a look at who should be among the top teams in the nation, and who has a good chance of getting to the College Football Playoff when all is said and done.
We see that the Oregon Ducks have a projected win total of 10.5, tied for the third-highest in the nation, behind only the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Texas Tech Red Raiders. Should Oregon win 10 or 11 games, it would give them a great chance to get into the Big Ten title game and earn a spot in the College Football Playoff for the third straight season.

But where does that win total rank among the top teams in the Big Ten? Let’s take a look at the win totals for all 18 teams in the conference and see if we can gauge the balance of power that the sportsbook is projecting this far ahead of the season.

Unsurprisingly, both Oregon and Indiana are at the top of the list. What does come as a bit of a surprise, though, is that Ohio State is a step down, listed at 9.5 wins. The Buckeyes have a tough schedule this year, going on the road to face the Texas Longhorns early in the season. They also have games at Indiana and at USC, with home games against Oregon and Michigan.

Another slight surprise comes with Penn State, where Matt Campbell’s new team is projected to have 9.5 wins, the same as the Buckeyes. A step down from Penn State is Michigan and USC, two teams that are carrying high expectations going into the year.
We will see how these win totals change over the coming months, if at all, based on what plays out during the offseason.
