Colorado football received some good news on the second day of the transfer portal with standout Miami (OH) wide receiver Kam Perry committing to the Buffs.
Perry, who made a tremendous catch in the MAC Championship, was in Boulder on Saturday, and that visit went very well. Perry is the first commitment Deion Sanders’ program has landed since the portal opened on Friday.

Perry caught 43 passes for 976 yards and six touchdowns in 2025. He was third in the nation, averaging 22.7 yards per reception.
At 5-foot-9, Perry seems to fit perfectly as new offensive coordinator Brennan Marion’s slot receiver. He is an elite route-runner out of the slot and should quickly become a favorite target of starting quarterback Julian Lewis.
Colorado will need several more additions, but adding Perry on the second day of the portal window is a promising start.
