With the transfer portal in full swing in college basketball, one of the most desirable big men in the country was at an ACC baseball game over the weekend. Former Kansas Jayhawks forward Flory Bidunga was seen strolling into the Louisville baseball game on Saturday with head coach Pat Kelsey. Here’s a look.
Bidunga, a former five-star prospect and one of the most intriguing players in the transfer portal, entered the portal after a strong sophomore season in Lawrence. He finished the season averaging 13.3 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-10 forward also tested the NBA Draft process while maintaining his college eligibility.
For Kansas, losing Bidunga would mark another significant roster shakeup during a busy offseason. The Jayhawks have already seen multiple players enter the transfer portal as Bill Self looks to reshape the roster heading into the 2026-27 season. The Jayhawks went down in the second round of March Madness to St. John’s.
As for Louisville, they finished 24-11 and 11-7 in the ACC, finishing 6th in the conference. They were a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and after a win over USF, the Cardinals lost to No. 3 seed Michigan State in the second round. Kelsey has been at Louisville for two seasons and has gone 51-19, but has yet to get past the first weekend of the tournament.
