The dawn of the SEC’s nine-game era has brought with it a good parlor game: Who should be each team’s three annual rivals?
The new schedule will give each team three annual opponents starting in 2026, while rotating everyone else. It’s being discussed in the comment sections of our stories, on social media, message boards, and just regular in-person conversations.
The conference office will do its research, measuring things like attendance, number of times played, and what each team’s coach, certainly with pure of heart, would prefer.
Let’s see if we can give them another data point.
Please take our survey, which is very quick and simple: Tell us which team you root for, and which three SEC teams you want as the annual rivals.
The survey will remain open until early next week and the results will be revealed soon after. After all, there is a season to begin, one final SEC season with eight league games.
We thank you in advance. Fire away:
