Parsons recorded two sacks on J.J. McCarthy, pushing him into rare historical territory. His fifth consecutive season reaching double-digit sacks places him among an exclusive group of pass rushers in NFL history.

The Green Bay organization acquired Parsons in an August trade with the Dallas Cowboys, committing significant resources to strengthen their defense. Management backed their confidence with a four-year, $188 million contract featuring $120 million guaranteed.
Through his first season with the Packers, Parsons has validated that investment with consistent production. He has compiled 62.5 career sacks across 74 games and is on pace to potentially finish 2025 with at least 15 sacks, which would mark his career high.
His impact extends beyond individual statistics, as his presence has elevated the entire Green Bay defensive unit. The Packers acquired him expecting immediate impact, and he has delivered on that expectation.
Green Bay’s playoff positioning remains strong at 7-3-1, good for second in the NFC North. Four of their final six games come against division opponents, requiring sustained intensity and focus to maintain momentum. Parsons and the defense will be central to navigating that stretch as the Packers pursue playoff seeding.
