Some believe him to be among the best in league history, considering he has won three Super Bowls before turning 30 years old.
He’s dazzled in the past with jaw-dropping passes to his receivers, making plays in the regular season and postseason that have left even the most seasoned analysts speechless.
That wasn’t necessarily the case in the 2024 Super Bowl, as he and his teammates fell short against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Instantly, Mahomes’ value in the public eye was dampened, as some believed he wasn’t the same quarterback he once was, that teams like the Eagles cracked the code to beating him in the big game.
While he might not have had his best statistical season, Mahomes is ready to prove that he’s still worth his salt in 2025, which was put on full display in a recent video that surfaced from practice.
As Dov Kleiman pointed out on X, Mahomes has been working on his no-look behind-the-back pass, something he’s been rumored to do in the past.

If he ever pulls that out in a game, it’ll be a surprise to defenders, even though there’s video of him doing it in practice.
A move of this magnitude is commonly viewed as too risky, but if anyone is going to pull it off, Mahomes might be the one to do it.
He hasn’t been afraid to attempt the impossible in the past, so it’s only a matter of time before he tries something spectacular in a real game.
