Field Hockey Canada (FHC) acknowledges the concerns that have been raised by the athletes in their open letter dated September 5, 2025. As an organization, we recognize the importance of addressing these concerns in a respectful and constructive way.
To that end, Field Hockey Canada and representatives from the Women’s and Men’s National Teams have agreed to participate in facilitated meetings, supported by a neutral third party, over the coming weeks. This process is intended to provide a space for open and meaningful conversation, and to work together toward shared understanding and positive steps forward.
Field Hockey Canada remain committed to listening and building solutions collaboratively to improve field hockey across the country. We look forward to providing a comprehensive update to the community once the facilitated conversations are concluded.
