Carlos Alcaraz has taken hold of the ATP’s Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award, and he may lock it down for the foreseeable future.

The affable six-time major champion won the award for 2025, his second time, as he edged out nominees Felix Auger-Aliassime, Casper Ruud and Grigor Dimitrov.

Per the ATP,Sportsmanship nominees were determined by an International Tennis Writers’ Association (ITWA) vote, and for the first time, the winner was selected in a vote by members of the exclusive ATP No. 1 Club – the 29 current and former players to have reached World No. 1.

Alcaraz isn’t just one of the fiercest competitors on tour, he’s also known for his kindness, warmth and sportsmanship. He won eight titles in 2025, including his fifth and sixth major triumphs, and locked down the ATP’s year-end No.1 ranking for the second time

Rublev the Humanitarian

Andrey Rublev has been named the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award in the 2025 ATP Awards, a testament to the 28-year-old’s desire to be an impactful source for good off the tennis court.

The 17-time tour-level titlist launched the Andrey Rublev Foundation in March 2024 with an aim to provide resources and support to children struggling with critical illness. Rublev expanded his efforts throughout the 2025 season.

The Russian superstar has also been candid about his mental health struggles and pivotal in raising awareness in the sport.

Per the ATP, Rublev joins some of the sport’s most notable legends as an Ashe Award recipient, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Andre Agassi and John McEnroe.

Additionally,  Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori have been voted as the Fans’ Favourite doubles team in the 2025 ATP Awards.
