With the Australian Open main draw set, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka will enter the tournament as overwhelming betting favorites to win their respective brackets and add a fifth Grand Slam title to each of their respective résumés.
Sinner is a -120 favorite to three-peat at the tournament, according to DraftKings lines, the first men’s player to be odds-on at a Grand Slam since Novak Djokovic also sported -120 going into the 2023 Australian Open, which he eventually won. It’s the first time in Sinner’s career that he’ll be the odds-on favorite heading into a Grand Slam.

Carlos Alcaraz, the men’s bracket’s No. 1 seed, is the only player anywhere close to Sinner at +175. Djokovic comes in next at +1600, before another big jump to Daniil Medvedev (+2500) and Alexander Zverev (+3500). In DraftKing’s special Big Two vs. The Field market, Sinner and Alcaraz are -1100 to win the tournament, while the field is +550.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, bettors are fully expecting one of the Big Two to take the title in Melbourne. At FanDuel and theScore Bet, Sinner and Alacaraz have garnered a combined 88% of the handle, with Alcaraz actually taking more than Sinner at the latter book.
Djokovic, Medvedev and Zverev, as well as Americans Taylor Fritz (+6000) and Ben Shelton (+7000), have attracted a fair share of longshot ticket action across the sportsbook marketplace.
On the women’s side, Sabalenka — the Australian Open champion in 2023 and 2024 — is a +185 favorite to reclaim the title, per DraftKings odds. There’s a sizable dropoff to Iga Swiatek at +550 before Amanda Anisimova (+750), Elena Rybakina (+800) and Coco Gauff (+1000) round out the top five. Gauff’s odds lengthened from +700 to +1000 on Friday morning.
Sabalenka’s odds going into the 2026 fray are shorter than they were going into 2025 (+225), a tournament she eventually lost via an upset from Madison Keys in the final; Keys is +3000 to repeat in 2026.
With more of an open draw compared to the men’s side, there is more variability in the betting action. Though Sabalenka largely leads the wager and money splits, BetMGM, FanDuel and theScoreBet all report taking significant action on Anisimova, while DraftKings has seen notable engagement on Rybakina.
BetMGM also likely took at least one large wager on Jessica Pegula (+4000 at DraftKings), as she holds a leading 19.3% of the handle at the sportsbook, making her its largest liability.
