The preliminary card featured four amateur contests that gave up-and-coming fighters a platform to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.
Felix Cano (@canofelix199) impressed in the 140-pound division with a TKO victory over Jordan Gonzalez at 2:29 of the second round. Cano’s striking proved too much for Gonzalez, who couldn’t withstand the barrage of punches that eventually forced the referee’s intervention.
Jacob Reed (@jakeereeed) needed just 39 seconds to submit Rhyse Speckman via D’arce choke in their 135-pound contest. The lightning-fast submission demonstrated Reed’s advanced grappling skills and marked him as a prospect to watch in future RUF Nation events.
In the 170-pound weight class, Jax Stam (@jaxstam_) showed heart and determination, securing a TKO victory over Samuel Dalton at 0:28 of the third round. After two competitive frames, Stam found another gear in the final round, overwhelming Dalton with strikes to earn the stoppage.
Mitchell Wheeler (@mitchell._wheeler) opened the evening with an emphatic statement in the 160-pound division, finishing Keller Hogan via TKO at 1:24 of the first round. Wheeler’s aggressive approach paid dividends as he quickly found his range and unleashed a combination that ended the fight in decisive fashion.
