U.S. citizens are disturbed by Tim Tebow’s scary “warning” on social media today.
Tebow, the former Heisman Trophy winner who played both baseball and football professionally, sounded off on some disturbing statistics on Global World Against Human Trafficking Day.
“An estimated 50 million people are trapped in human trafficking across the world. Would you please join us in prayer for all of these men, women and children who are being exploited, trafficked, and abused every day? The statistics are daunting, but we must stay motivated to get to the next one because every life is worth it,” he wrote.
“I don’t know if we’ll ever win the war against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation in this lifetime. But I know Who wins one day. And until that day comes, we’ll keep fighting to rescue one more.”
“Right now, an estimated *50 million people—children, women, and men—are trapped in the $236 billion industry of human trafficking. Today, on World Day Against Trafficking, you’ll hear numbers. You’ll see awareness posts. But here’s the truth: This crisis isn’t about stats—it’s about sons and daughters of God, hidden in plain sight, being bought and sold. It’s not just overseas. It’s in our neighborhoods. It’s kids targeted because they’re vulnerable—and a trafficker saw that. We refuse to look away. Until all are free. Until all are loved. We will not stop. Americans are disturbed on Wednesday.
“That is absolutely insane! To put that into perspective, 50 million people is 45 cities, the size of Jacksonville Florida, full of people that have been trafficked in this world. It’s almost unfathomable! How did we get to this point? Greed! That’s the root. The love of money!” one fan wrote.
