The Oklahoma Sooners are in the throws of spring football, but it’s also a big time for recruiting. This weekend, the Sooners hosted a number of prospects over the next three recruiting cycles for their Future Freaks weekend.

The Sooners currently have just four players committed to the 2026 recruiting class, led by four-star quarterback prospect Jaden O’Neal. According to OUInsider (Subscription Required), O’Neal wasn’t in town this weekend, but the Sooners had one of the fastest rising players in the cycle, quarterback Bowe Bentley.

Oklahoma also had in town former four-star running back commit Jonathan Hatton. Hatton was the first player to commit to the Sooners in 2026 but reopened his recruitment in the fall while remaining engaged with the Sooners. Oklahoma is still hoping to make the big-time prospect a part of its future at the position.

After a big weekend, a number of prospects took to social media after their time with the Sooners.
