Coming off a road win at Georgia, the Alabama Crimson Tide return home Saturday afternoon for what is a ranked showdown against a very dangerous Vanderbilt Commodores team.
Owning an already solid resume this season, headlined by a road win at South Carolina, Vanderbilt is currently one of the SEC’s remaining undefeated team’s, and will be looking for their second consecutive win over Alabama after upsetting the Crimson Tide a year ago, 40-35.
As for this season’s matchup, will it be the Crimson Tide or Commodores coming out of Saturday victorious?
In an attempt to predict this matchup, we, as with every week, turn to the EA Sports College Football 26 video game to simulate the matchup between Alabama and Vanderbilt. The game owns a 2-2 overall record this season when predicting Alabama’s games through the weekly simulations, with the result last week incorrect against Georgia.
Here is a look at who College Football 26 predicts winning the Alabama vs. Vanderbilt matchup.

College Football 26 predicts the Vanderbilt Commodores to come into Tuscaloosa on Saturday to defeat Alabama, 31-28, in a shocking result.
However, the final score is not necessarily the shocking part from the video game simulation, but it was the fact that Vanderbilt dominated a majority of this contest, eventually entering the fourth quarter with a 28-6 lead.
The Crimson Tide eventually made a big fourth quarter comeback to tie the game late though before Vanderbilt won on the final play with a 37-yard field goal from Brock Taylor.
Alabama vs. Vanderbilt is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 4. The game will be played from Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on ABC.
