The latest US LBM Coaches Poll top 25 rankings were released Sunday in Week 7.
10 teams from the Southeastern Conference are ranked in the top 25. Ole Miss (5-0, 3-0 SEC) is the SEC’s highest ranked team at No. 4.
No. 5 Texas A&M (5-0, 2-0 SEC), No. 6 Oklahoma (5-0, 1-0 SEC), No. 8 Alabama (4-1, 2-0 SEC) and No. 9 Georgia (4-1, 2-1 SEC) are also ranked in the top 10 from the SEC.
No. 11 LSU (4-1, 1-1 SEC), No. 12 Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) and No. 14 Missouri (5-0, 1-0 SEC) are ranked in the top 15. Texas (3-2, 0-1 SEC) is ranked 19th and Vanderbilt (5-1, 1-1 SEC) is 20th after Week 6.
Auburn (3-2, 0-2 SEC) is receiving seven votes.
The Vols were one of seven SEC teams who had an open date and did not play in Week 6, joining Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri and South Carolina.
