Reebok Celebrates Allen Iverson Documentary With The Engine A And Answer III

Allen Iverson’s cultural impact is well-established among basketball fans of a certain age. Still, it’s never a bad idea to get a refresher for the older set or an introduction for those for whom AI’s legendary tenure was a bit before their time. Though projects like ESPN’s 30 for 30 have explored various stages of the Hall of Fame PG’s journey, the new Prime docu-series Allen Iv3rson aims to be the most comprehensive to date.

To celebrate the release of the limited run, Reebok is going back to Bethel High School — obviously a formative training ground for the eventual Georgetown product. The Reebok Engine A appears in two opposing yellow/green and green/yellow colorways, linking to the Virginia school’s trademark tones. Conceptually, the choice of the Engine A makes a ton of sense given Iverson’s ascendant status within Reebok, standing as the first new basketball silhouette to hit the shelves under his and Shaquille O’Neal’s tenures in the basketball division.

Along with the two PE Reebok Engine A colorways in Bethel High colors, Reebok is also relaunching two versions of the Answer III from the past year and change. Catch images of those signature pairs below.
