Four-star defensive lineman Dylan Berymon has decommitted from the Texas Longhorns, according to Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.

Berymon is from Monroe, Louisiana, and is the first decommitment that Texas has suffered in the 2026 recruiting cycle. He had been committed to the Longhorns since June 7, when he committed during his official visit.

He is ranked as the No. 216 overall player and No. 23 defensive lineman in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 8 player from Louisiana.

While the loss stings, the Longhorns still have the seventh-best recruiting class in the country and the third-best in the SEC, according to Rivals. They have 20 total commitments, including two five-star prospects.

They still have one of the best defensive line recruiting classes in the country, with four-star prospects James Johnson, Vodney Cleveland, and Corey Wells committed. They also have two elite edge rushers committed in five-star Richard Wesley and four-star Kosi Okpala.
