New web-hub provides centralized area for community programming
Field Hockey Canada is proud to unveil the new digital home for its successful Stick Together initiative: https://fhcsticktogether.ca/. The website is a centralized hub for community programs, resources, and will operate as an online community centre where projects can share success stories and resources as we continue to build on the incredible work taking place in communities across Canada.
Field Hockey Canada Stick Together, supported by the Government of Canada through the Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI), aims to break down barriers and grow field hockey across the nation by targeting underserved groups such as Indigenous peoples, Black, 2SLGBTQQIA+, low-income families, newcomers, racialized communities, and persons with disabilities.
The new web-hub will be a living centre for Stick Together, bringing communities across Canada together. From sharing success stories, to hosting resources, this web community will continue to grow and support all Stick Together projects in the years to come through providing a centralized location for information. Part of this evolved support for Stick Together community programming is a new logo. A twist on Field Hockey Canada’s logo, the new Stick Together emblem shows two hockey sticks reaching across the shield shape towards one another, representing the national brand and the inclusive, united and nationwide appeal of the Stick Together initiative.
