🥋 Amateur Fight Results
Cage Series 9 wasted no time heating up the Arizona fight scene as the amateur matchups kicked off with fast finishes and high-pressure moments.
Amateur 151 lbs | Isaack Torres def. Maher Amiry — KO (Strikes), Round 1, 2:23
The opening bout set the tone immediately. Isaack Torres came out aggressive, using crisp combinations to close the distance and overwhelm Maher Amiry. A powerful finishing sequence ended the fight at just 2:23 of round one, securing Torres a statement knockout to start the night.

Amateur 155 lbs | Victor Lopez def. Julian Reyes — TKO (Strikes), Round 1, 1:00
In one of the quickest finishes of the night, Victor Lopez (@victorlopez5055) wasted no time applying pressure to Julian Reyes. Lopez’s early flurry forced the referee to step in just one minute into round one, giving Lopez a decisive TKO victory.
Amateur 155 lbs | Victor Gonzalez def. Daniel Hernandez — KO (Strikes), Round 2, 1:27
This bout brought the crowd to life with a competitive back-and-forth first round. In the second, Victor Gonzalez (@victor.razcon01) found his rhythm and dropped Daniel Hernandez with a clean KO shot at 1:27 of round two. A highlight-reel finish for Gonzalez.

Amateur 136 lbs | Jeremy Ryan def. Miguel Tamayo — Split Decision
The first fight to go the distance was a technical battle between Jeremy Ryan (@jryanmma) and Miguel Tamayo. Both fighters exchanged momentum throughout all three rounds, but Ryan edged out a split decision, improving his stock in the 136-lb division.
Amateur 155 lbs | Marco Salcido def. Carmen Carangi — Unanimous Decision
Marco Salcido (@marcosalcido) delivered a composed and tactical performance, controlling the pace and distance against Carmen Carangi (@chickencam). His consistency earned him all judges’ scorecards for a unanimous decision win.
Amateur 146 lbs | Isaiah Delgado def. Juan Camarillo — KO (Strikes), Round 1, 1:00
Another lightning-fast finish came when Isaiah Delgado (@isaiah_deli) secured a clean KO over Juan Camarillo just one minute into the fight. Delgado’s striking accuracy continues to make him a standout prospect at 146 lbs.

Amateur 135 lbs | Chasen Stephen def. Sam Ortiz — Unanimous Decision
In a disciplined three-round performance, Chasen Stephen outworked Sam Ortiz (@samuel_ortiz520) with volume and cage control. His strategy paid off as he earned a unanimous decision victory.
Amateur 265 lbs | Jay Hector def. Niko Kittrell — DQ (Illegal Strikes), Round 2
The heavyweight bout ended in unexpected fashion. After an intense start to the fight, Jay Hector (@az_jsmoove) was awarded the win following a disqualification due to strikes to the back of the head by Niko Kittrell (@little_bear_niko). The fight was halted in round two.
🏆 Amateur Title Fights

125 lbs Title | Christopher Tavares def. Tony Hernandez — Unanimous Decision
The first title fight of the evening delivered nonstop action. Christopher Tavares showcased superior conditioning and striking exchanges to earn a unanimous decision over Tony Hernandez (@tony.two.tone) and secure the 125-lb amateur championship.
135 lbs Title | Andres Camacho vs. Julio Escamilla Jr — Majority Draw
In the most debated result of the night, Andres Camacho and Julio Escamilla Jr (@j_escamilla_jr) battled through a competitive championship fight that ultimately ended in a draw. Both fighters had strong moments, leaving fans and coaches wondering how a rematch might unfold. Expect plenty of conversation about this one.

145 lbs Title | Elijah Jimenez def. Jonathan Nunez — Rear Naked Choke, Round 1, 2:51
Elijah Jimenez (@elispicywiener) closed out the amateur portion of the card with a masterclass in timing and grappling. After securing a takedown, Jimenez transitioned to the back and locked in a rear naked choke at 2:51 of round one, becoming the new 145-lb champion.
🌟 Professional Main Event

Pro 145 lbs | Ed West def. Andres Ponce — Arm Triangle Choke, Round 1, 2:25
The pro main event opened with sharp striking exchanges, with Ed West landing the cleaner shots before the fight spilled to the mat in a series of fast scrambles. West fought through a straight ankle lock attempt from Andres Ponce, countering as Ponce looked to transition into a heel hook. As West rotated on top, he landed a heavy punch, secured head-and-arm control, and finished the bout with a head-and-arm choke for the first-round submission win.
