Ally Schlegel is headed to the Triangle.
The Longmont, Colorado, native has signed a two-year contract with the North Carolina Courage after announcing earlier this week she would leave Chicago Stars FC and pursue free agency.
For three seasons, Schlegel was a key player for the Stars on and off the pitch. Now, she joins the Courage as they look to rebound after just missing out on the playoffs in 2025.
The fourth-year player became a free agent for the first time this summer and initially grappled with the decision to leave Chicago.
