On top of receiving top-tier treatment from its sneaker sponsor in Nike, Duke University is tied with Kentucky for the most active signature athletes in pro basketball – its alumni list headlined by Kyrie Irving with Anta, along with Zion Williamson and Jayson Tatum under the Jordan Brand umbrella. For that reason, we’re accustomed to seeing signature models dressed in Duke-inspired colorways, and that’s exactly the case with this Jordan Tatum 4 earmarked for Spring 2026.
Leaning fully into the Blue Devils’ palette, this Tatum 4 strikes a balance between Game Royal, University Blue, and Deep Royal Blue. Game Royal does most of the heavy lifting, appearing on a glossy leather toe cap as well as the tongue, laces, and mesh sections. Deep Royal Blue plays a supporting role in the background, showing up on the tongue, outsole, and along the edges of the silhouette’s various curved panels. University Blue, meanwhile, draws the eye to the midfoot and midsole, appearing on both the fabric upper panel and the midsole detailing to form an oval shape across the two areas. The heel arrives in University Blue, finished with Deep Royal Blue on Tatum’s “0” jersey number for contrast.
Jayson Tatum was recently named Chief Basketball Officer at Duke, a role that will see him assist with roster construction, mentorship, and more. The Tatum 3 previously dropped in a like-minded colorway officially dubbed “Blueprint,” and while that release wasn’t explicitly tied to Duke, Tatum gifting pairs to Duke athletes all but confirmed the connection. He also debuted a Jordan Tatum 1 “Blueprint” PE back in 2023, though that version never saw a public release.
The Jordan Tatum 4 “Duke” aka “Blueprint” is scheduled to release Spring 2026 for $130 in men’s sizes. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
