While not explicitly attached, every non-signature Nike Basketball line (as well as lines tied to retired players) tends to have a face. Jalen Brunson and Caitlin Clark are the de facto standard-bearers for Kobe footwear in today’s game. Victor Wembanyama carries the torch for the GT Hustle line. NIL athlete AJ Dybantsa has emerged as the on-court face of the GT Future. The list goes on. As for the GT Cut franchise and its impending fourth generation, Nike has tapped UConn alum and Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers as its primary representative, tasking her with debuting the model publicly for the first time back in July.

As Bueckers and other rising stars vie for spots on the women’s Team USA roster ahead of the 2028 Olympics during offseason training camp, we’re now getting a fitting first look at an upcoming Nike GT Cut 4 in “USA” colors. Detailed images posted by sneaker leak source @prm.cotd show a red lateral side and outsole contrasted by navy blue on the tongue and medial side. Navy laces with gold speckling and gold lace tips add a premium touch, perhaps nodding to Team USA’s medal ambitions heading into 2028.

The Nike GT Cut 4 is the latest entry in Nike’s tentpole non-signature basketball series and carries lofty expectations. The GT Cut 3 has been the most popular non-signature model in pro basketball in recent seasons, and even the line’s original iteration remains a go-to among both casual and professional hoopers. The GT Cut 4 is by far the most visually adventurous of the bunch, highlighted by anatomy-like molded lines along the lateral side. Performance-wise, it’s designed for the positionless era with a ZoomX 3.0 midsole, parabolic Zoom Strobel, RBR-X foam, and a Cushlon carrier.

The Nike GT Cut 4 debuts January 2026, though no specific release date has been announced for this “USA” colorway as of this writing. See detailed images below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page bookmarked for the latest updates.
