From Tee Morant’s visible presence at Grizzlies games to representing his daughter Kaari on his first signature shoe, Ja Morant has always made his family a true priority. Though there’s been plenty of headline-grabbing editions in the Ja 3 story so far, from a Kool-Aid collab to a Swarovski-fitted pair to a Jurassic Park pack, we’ve yet to see the model hit the home front until now.
Now surfacing with in-hand looks is the Nike Ja 3 “Uncle Phil,” one of a few revealed in a clock-like preview by who else but #12 himself. For the uninitiated, Phil Morant, brother of Tee, already popped into the news cycle for founding “Catch 12,” a media company that helps guide some of Ja’s ventures, like his Twelve Time outfit. That close association now results in the aquatic pair at hand, utilizing metallic finishes and an overall aquatic palette that does align pretty closely with the Catch 12 logo. From there, a cut-out sole unit that reveals yellow pops and red branding notes lights up this shoe in typical eye-catching fashion.
The Nike Ja 3 “Uncle Phil” is due out this March, likely commanding the silhouette’s usual $135 retail price. Catch detailed looks below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for more info as it comes to light.
