UFC veteran Drew Dober wants to continue making history in the lightweight division this weekend when he makes his return at UFC 326.

In a recent interview, Drew Dober spoke openly about the fact that he currently holds the record for most lightweight knockouts at 10.

“It was inevitable,” Dober said at Wednesday’s media day. “We were going to fight each other. We talked about it years ago and why it hasn’t happened. The stars lined up. His fight fell through, and now he became available. I was looking for something. Paramount is blessing us with this opportunity. So, I’m glad it’s happening now and not earlier, and I honestly think I get the best version of MJ in this fight.”
“I think I have six more in me,” Dober laughed. “I just saw the grid of how all that plays out. Matt Brown has what, 13? It’s fun to think about. The fact that I was a part of that conversation has just dumbfounded me, and I cherish it. I’m not aiming for any long goals, but I’m planning on knocking out MJ and continuing it.”
