Terland has so often proved pivotal for United in this continental campaign, scoring hat-tricks against PSV Eindhoven and Brann, plus the opener in the play-off first leg at Atletico de Madrid.
Skinner acknowledged that, while her goalscoring talents will be missed in Germany, the Reds have what it takes to make it a night we’ll never forget.
“I believe in this team. The only thing missing from Bayern having a tough night at Old Trafford was our little bit of composure in the final third.
“There were two or three little passes we missed to create goalscoring opportunities, so we have to sharpen up on that. It’s understandable, but we know what we have to do.
“We have to come in and silence a fantastic arena with brilliant fans. We have to create history, and everyone is geed up and ready to go.”
