Baseball is a business, which means one day you’re enjoying the Major League clubhouse spreads in Kansas City, the next you’re riding the bus in Triple-A. But the dream is hard to give up, and god bless those men that continue grinding away, playing the game we love so dear.

Former Royals that were on rosters last year that I cannot find on one this year – Max Castillo, Jake Diekman, Hunter Dozier, Tyler Duffey, Danny Duffy, Matt Duffy, Cam Gallagher, Robbie Grossman, Jonathan Heasley, Jordan Lyles, Whit Merrifield, Chris Owings, and Will Smith. And Nori Aoki retired last fall!
