During the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, Sneaker News showed you a first look at the upcoming Nike ST Charge, the latest silhouette in the burgeoning streetball-focused line of hoop models. Months later, we’re getting signals of a retail release coming soon.
The Nike ST Charge “Iron Grey” — one of five that were previewed in February — has surfaced via brand official images depicting the EP issue of the silhouette. This firmly plants the Charge as an Asia exclusive release not unlike all the other models in the ST family such as the Flare, Glow, and Dynamite.
The immediate comparisons to the Nike Ja 3 and Kobe 6 are expected; the Charge features an extensive protection system that consists of a protective TPU armor that extends from the bottom traction and scoops upwards around the entire mudguard. This exterior shell is ideal for the hoopers who tend to drag their feet on concrete on those euro-steps, hesi-stepbacks, and other footwork-heavy moves in the modern hooper’s bag.
This “Iron Grey” colorway is joined by hits of a Hyper Pink on the interior, teal on the heel ribbon, and gold on the Swoosh for one of the more striking colorways of the ST Charge batch; MSRP is set around $110 USD across Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, and Korean Won. Again, it’s unclear if the ST Charge is hitting retail stateside, so stay tuned for more updates.
In other Nike hoops happenings, here’s a first look at the Nike Ja 4 signature shoe.
