Tennessee hosted the country music superstar, and he didn’t disappoint. At one point during his show, Combs called up Josh Heupel, Peyton Manning, Al Wilson and Joey Aguilar on stage to shotgun some beers.
The moment quickly caught fire on social media with the Vols star power clearly on display. One of the best stops on his tour yet and a recruiting pitch from Heupel to say he’s still young at heart. Manning presented Combs with his own No. 77 Tennessee jersey during the exchange.
As it stands currently, the Vols have the 31st overall recruiting class for 2027. Two major targets are committing in the coming weeks. On May 8th, four-star running back Andrew Beard will be picking between Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia, and Florida. He’s the nephew of former NFL star Garrison Hearst. Vols legacy recruit Kenneth Simon is also set to commit on May 11th. His top four includes Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss.
