While not the inventor of the triangle offense, Phil Jackson deserves plenty of credit for turning it into a household term. The Hall of Fame coach rode the free-flowing offensive system to 11 NBA championships, first with Michael Jordan and the Bulls, then later with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. The scheme isn’t used in today’s NBA, yet the term remains embedded in basketball culture, now lending its name to a new Jordan Brand hoops model dropping later this year.
The Jordan Triangle features a mesh/leather upper with large side panels and a continuous leather strip from the heel to the toe box. It’s still unclear exactly where the model fits within Jordan Brand’s current performance lineup relative to flagship Air Jordans and signature shoes, but early images suggest the sneaker will land somewhere in the mid-to-premium tier (peep the ZoomX logo on the forefoot).
The Jordan Triangle is expected to debut in multiple colorways during the back half of 2026, including this “Baltic Blue/White/Copa/Coastal Blue/Game Royal” makeup. Check out first-look images below and keep our Jordan releases page handy for updates.
