Race organisers at Baku City Circuit have announced the headline acts who’ll perform at the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix on September 24-26.
Katy Perry and Calvin Harris have been named as the A-list performers who’ll be playing at this September’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Celebrating a decade since Baku City Circuit first joined the Formula 1 calendar, as host of the 2016 European Grand Prix, the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix takes place on September 24-26.
Over the past decade, race organisers at Baku City Circuit have attracted some big names to perform on race weekend in Azerbaijan, including Christina Aguilera, Dua Lipa and Mariah Carey. Although not yet officially confirmed for 2026, concerts usually take place at Baku Crystal Hall, the venue that staged the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012.
All four-day tickets for the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix provide free access to the concerts. This year’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix runs on a Thursday to Saturday schedule as the original race date, September 27, is the same date as Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan.
Katy Perry and Calvin Harris Headline 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Announced back in April, Calvin Harris will be headlining after the first on-track action of the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Thursday September 24. A defining figure in modern dance music, the Scottish producer, DJ and songwriter is known for huge collaborations with the likes of Rihanna, The Weeknd and fellow Baku headliner Katy Perry.
Calvin Harris has made many appearances on Grand Prix weekends in the past. He headlined Bahrain in 2013, Singapore and Abu Dhabi in 2017, Saudi Arabia in 2023 and played at the first-ever official launch party at Silverstone ahead of the 2023 British Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is Katy Perry’s third appearance on the line-up at a Formula 1 weekend. Having first headlined at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2012, she returned to the stage at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, appearing alongside Post Malone, Metallica and Benson Boone on the final race weekend of the season. The global superstar will be bringing her hits – including Firework, Roar and Teenage Dream – to Baku on Friday September 25.
