Jonathan Baldwin played for the Pitt Panthers from 2008 to 2010. He was an All-Big East wideout and was selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
It would make sense, then, for Baldwin’s son, three-star wide receiver Jaden Baldwin, to also play for Pitt. Being a legacy recruit does not always guarantee a commitment, though.
It’s worth noting that Colorado and Penn State were also in the running. The wideout from Chandler, Arizona, ultimately did decide to follow in his father’s footsteps, though.
The younger Baldwin canceled a visit to Penn State and then announced his commitment to Pitt on Tuesday.
