The 33-year-old is exercising his $21.6-million player option for the 2026-27 season, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Friday.
Caldwell-Pope appeared in 51 games for the Grizzlies last season. He averaged 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 41 per cent shooting.
The wing previously played for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic. He won two NBA Championships with the Lakers in 2020 and the Nuggets in 2023.
Caldwell-Pope holds career averages of 11 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists with a 36.5 per cent clip from three.
