F1 returns for the Austrian Grand Prix, the first of another European double header, and there are plenty of talking points to delve into as Tom Clarkson is joined by Jolyon Palmer and James Hinchcliffe in the latest episode of F1 Nation.

Lewis Hamilton’s sublime victory at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix has generated plenty of buzz, especially as an unfortunate retirement for Kimi Antonelli led to his advantage in the standings dropping to 41 points. With the competition heating up, do Ferrari and Mercedes have some tough decisions to make?

On the other side of the Ferrari garage, Charles Leclerc has suffered a torrid run of crashes and issues with the car impacting his form, so could the team ask him to play a supporting role in a Hamilton’s title challenge? How would he respond to that?

And with the threat of Ferrari lurking, will Mercedes change their approach to how they let Antonelli and George Russell race each other? The pair clashed in Canada and Barcelona, but Team Principal Toto Wolff will want them to keep it clean if their rivals continue to close the gap.

The guys also discuss what challenge the Red Bull Ring provides and share their podium predictions. Will Red Bull be strong at their home track? Are McLaren getting closer to a Grand Prix victory? And why might reliability be a particularly hot topic in Spielberg?

To hear the latest on all the biggest talking points ahead of the race weekend, hit go on the audio player above or click here to listen to the latest episode on your preferred podcasting platform.
