Check out McLaren’s heritage-inspired livery for the British Grand Prix

McLaren have unveiled an eye-catching livery for this weekend’s British Grand Prix, paying homage to their history with a heritage-inspired design.

The team will switch out their usual striking papaya for a primarily white livery, as first seen on the McLaren M2B when they joined F1 in 1966 – in the same season, founder Bruce McLaren scored their maiden point at the British Grand Prix.

Highlighting how much the team have evolved over the last six decades, the new look also builds on their milestone 1000th Grand Prix earlier this year in Monaco, where they ran a special orange-and-black colour scheme.

Check out photos of McLaren’s Silverstone livery in the gallery at the top of the page.
