Here’s a look at some stats and minutiae following Week 11 of the 2026 National Women’s Soccer League season. We’ll keep evolving this space every week to try and keep you informed. Have an idea or an addition? Hit me @thedanlauletta on Bsky or X.

All statistics reference regular season games only except where noted.

PLAYER STATS

-Sophia Wilson scored the final goal in the Thorns’ 4-0 win over Racing Louisville to become the ninth player with 50 NWSL goals. She joins Sam Kerr and Lynn Biendolo as having done so before making 100 appearances. Wilson needs one more to tie Megan Rapinoe for eighth all-time. (the other five members of the 50-goal club are Christine Sinclair, Alex Morgan, Ashley Hatch, Debinha and Jess McDonals).

-Sofia Huerta’s assist was her 35th, extending her NWSL record. The next active players are Lynn Biyendolo and Vanessa DiBernardo with 31. Liyendolo and DiBernardo are both on maternity leave.

-Kaleigh Kurtz has now played 126 consecutive regular season matches and 11,412 consecutive minutes. Both are  league records. The streaks began June 26, 2021, while playing for the Courage. (The unrounded number is due to a rain-shortened match in 2023.)

-Kate Del Fava remains minute-perfect for the Royals having played all 5,850 over 65 games since the team launched in 2024. Those are the longest streaks from the start of any expansion team.

-Manaka Matsukubo left the Courage with a streak of having an assist in three-straight games. That ties Jess McDonald for the most since the team moved to North Carolina in 2016. Including the Western New York Flash years, Vicky Losada also had helpers in three games in a row.

-Paige Nielsen has appeared in all 60 matches for the Dash since being acquired from Angel City on April 20, 2024.

-The Golden Boot race is tightening. Barbra Banda remains on top with 11 goals but missed the weekend with a thigh injury. Ashley Sanchez had a brace for the Courage to move to nine and Temwa Chawinga’a goal was her eighth.

-Kailen Sheridan won her 59th game on Saturday and is now tied with Nicole Barnhart for fourth all-time. One behind them in Jane Campbell on 58. Sheridan and Campbell — in reverse order — were the first two keepers selected in the 2017 NWSL Draft.

-Mandy McGlynn will have to settle for a tie of her own record seven-game unbeaten streak after the Royals lost in Chicago on Sunday. McGlynn also had a seven-game unbeaten run in 2025. Overall, Sunday’s loss was just her third from her last 17 appearances.

-Luisa Agudelo made four saves in her NWSL and kept Gotham off the scoreboard, earning the win and shutout. The 19-year-old joins Cecilia Santiago as teenagers to appear as goalkeepers in NWSL. Santiago debuted and won for the Boston Breakers at 18 years, 190 days. She earned a clean sheet 28 days later. Agudelo’s firsts came at 19 years, 99 days.

-Agudelo was the only player to make her NWSL debut during Week 11.

-Claire Hutton’s goal Sunday was the first of her NWSL career. She made 47 appearances for the Current and became a Best XI midfielder but never scored.

-Lo’eau LaBonta has now missed two consecutive penalties after missing high in the Mile High City on Saturday. She had converted 10 straight between 2022 and 2025.

-Chris Armas and Nick Cushing are the first coaches to face off in both NWSL and Major League Soccer.

-Leif Gunnar Smerid became the 76th coach of record for an NWSL regular season match. He is the 69th to earn a victory. Not included among the 78 are Craig Harrington and Amy LePeilbet. Harrington coached the old Utah Royals during the 2020 Challenge Cup. He was suspended (and later fired) ahead of the Fall Series for which LePeilbet coached the team. Neither coached any regular season games.

-Avery Patterson of the Dash and Ana Tejada from the Royals both picked up their fifth yellow cards and will miss this weekend’s matches.

TEAM STATS

-The Royals 10-game unbeaten streak ended with Sunday’s 3-2 loss in Chicago. The Royals streak leaves the following franchises without streaks of 10 or more without a loss:  Bay FC, Angel City, Wave, Louisville, Dash and Gotham. We won’t hold this season’s expansion teams to the standard just yet. The old FC Kansas City side also had a 10-game unbeaten streak in 2013.

-Angel City FC are 4-0-0 when Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir has a goal or an assist. They are 1-6-1 when she has neither, including four she did not play in.

-Maiara Niehues scored in her third consecutive match to equal the Angel City record. The previous players to do it were Claire Emslie and Alyssa Thompson, both in 2024.
