The Braves are beating up on winning teams and losing teams, winning against right-handers and left-handers, and against every division. Their offense leads the sport in runs scored, OPS and slugging. Their pitching staff leads the sport in ERA.
That pull-quote from Jayson Stark’s look at the 2026 MLB season a quarter of the way through is a bit of a caption obvious statement if you follow the Braves but it is a reminder that what Atlanta has done so far this season shouldn’t be under appreciated.
