Well the Braves have gotten some positive developments in the lottery race. Pittsburgh won their game on Saturday and Atlanta lost, placing the Braves only 0.5 games behind the Pirates for the second best odds , with the Pirates coming to Atlanta for the final series of the season. The Braves are also 4.5 games clear of the seventh best odds and 4.0 games clear of the sixth best odds. They should be safely within the top 5 in odds, with two weeks remaining in the season. That would give the Braves somewhere from 8.72% and 21.00% of a chance at the number one overall pick, plus each spot they gain is one spot higher they would be expected to land if they missed out on the top six spots in the lottery.
