Minor shifts made for Atlanta Braves to take on Mets in series finale

Besides Elder being the new face of the series to help the Atlanta Braves finish the job of clinching a series win against the New York Mets, the rest of the lineup is similar to yesterday’s with Drake Baldwin taking the catching spot and a few switch ups in the batting order.

Jurickson Profar is keeping his lead off spot, along with Matt Olson following after him.

Drake Baldwin will now be next in order with Marcell Ozuna batting behind him in the fourth hole.

Vidal Bruján, who’s just had two appearances with the Braves, will be taking the place of Eli White on right field.

You’ve probably seen the alert earlier today, but Carlos Carrasco was designated for assignment after yesterday’s performance ( 2IP/ 6H/ 6ER/ 3BB/ 2 K). So that’s the latest for the Braves’ roster.

Much to look forward to tonight after yesterday’s late but dominant performance, let’s see if the team can finish the job.

First pitch is set for 7:10 EST.
