He threw the first pitch, but should he have picked up a bat? We asked if y’all, the fans, would have liked to see Longoria on the field again this season for these finally-above-.500 Rays, and y’all said…

YES.

And it’s hard to disagree! If the Rays are trotting Chris Morel out there, they can just as easily get the same production out of the most famous player in franchise history who probably has a bit more in that tank!

Of course, this isn’t our last sight of Longo, he’s been promised another ceremony in the supposedly soon to be repaired Trop!

He’ll go into the Rays hall of fame in that moment, but should the Rays surprise him by putting his number in the newly renovated catwalks? We asked, and y’all said…
