The MLB offseason is creeping along and with it, another important date can be marked off the calendar as today, Friday November 21st at 5pm, the deadline will pass for teams to off contracts to their arbitration eligible player or to non-tender them and thus make them free agents.
Entering the offseason, the Rays had 17 players who were arbitration eligible. Through a series of roster moves, that number has been cut to 13.
Below, those 13 players are listed with their 2026 salaries, projected by MLB Trade Rumors.
Once the Rays decide to tender each one of these players a contract, the two sides will have until January 8th to agree to a salary for the 2026 season. If an agreement cannot be reached, the two sides will go to an arbitration hearing in early February where an arbitrator will decide upon the salary for the upcoming season.
