If you put any stock into social media comments (generally a losing battle, but we digress), the public sentiment has been “give us the Anthony Edwards 2” for quite some time. Previous looks have largely mapped out the design for Ant’s next model, removing the now-iconic honeycomb synthetics on the sidewalls and instead replacing them with vent-like TPU anchors at the heel are forefoot. Mesh is instead the material choice on the sidewalls, while the rubber toe-cap from the inaugural edition does remain. Capitalizing on the Timberwolves’ trademark royal blue and lime, this pair lands in the hands of @crosbykicks, bonafide hooper and sneaker reviewer who helps elucidate some of the tech specs on offer here.
